Introduction
Pulsed radar transmits 1mW of micro-power microwave pulses from the radar antenna (such as 26G frequency radar, that is: sends a pulse of△t—1nS, superimposed on a 26GHz sine wave signal), this pulse propagates in space at the speed of light and comes into contact with the surface of the medium under test. Part of the energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between the transmitted pulse and the received pulse is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the medium under test.
Guided wave radar is a “top-down” measuring instrument based on TDR (time travel) technology. The probe emits a high-frequency pulse and propagates along the cable. When the pulse encounters the surface of the material, it is reflected back and received by the receiver in the instrument.Through the equivalent sampling technology of unique objects, the time difference between the transmission and reception of the recorded pulse is finally converted into an instrument measurement of the distance from the reference point (the connection of the instrument process) to the surface of the material. And convert the distance signal into a level signal.
